Welcome to Of Ink and Earth

Welcome, wanderer.

Whether you arrived here by trail, by tale, or by quiet curiosity, I’m grateful you’ve found your way to Of Ink and Earth— a digital hearth for those who find meaning in stories, stillness, and the sacred hush of the wild.

My name is Steven Bennett — I’m a fantasy author, photographer, and nature-lover with a camera in one hand and a pen in the other. This space was born from the belief that creativity doesn’t live in towers or trends — it lives in the roots, the rivers, the quiet moments when something stirs inside you, and you have to make something.

Here on the blog, you’ll find photo essays from my hikes through North Georgia’s forests and mountains, reflections on the writing process, meditations on personal growth and spirituality, and behind-the-scenes glimpses into the fantasy world I’m building.

You don’t have to be a writer or a photographer to feel at home here — just someone who seeks connection. With art. With nature. With meaning.

I believe we’re all telling stories — in the way we move through the world, in the light we carry, and in the footprints we leave behind. This site is where I tell mine.

So grab a warm drink, pull up a chair beside the firelight, and stay awhile. There’s plenty to explore.

With muddy boots and ink-stained fingers,
Steven
