🌿 Guiding Truths of Ink and Earth

A personal belief statement by Steven Bennett

I believe in the stillness between footsteps, in the hush of leaves whispering truths older than words.I believe that the Earth is not beneath me, but within me —that I am not separate from nature, but stitched into its rhythm like bark to branch, river to stone.

I believe that every tree, every bird, every breath of wind has a spirit —and when I walk among them, I am home.

I believe that no single path holds all the answers, but that all paths taken with intention lead somewhere meaningful.

I believe in presence over perfection, compassion over certainty, and quiet acts of kindness that ripple outward like circles in water.

I believe that stories hold power —to heal, to connect, to bear witness.

And I believe that mine is still unfolding, told in moss and moonlight, in ink and ash, in every photo I frame and every word I write.

I do not need a name for what I am.

I only need to keep walking — eyes open, heart listening —and offer what light I can to the path behind me and the souls I meet along the way.
